Data Literacy for AI Readiness

Our mission is to give students the tools they need to become smart consumers of data and skillful creators of their own data stories

VizTreks is a self-paced data literacy course for Grades 4–8 that offers

• scaffolded explicit instruction,

• guided practice, and

• ongoing formative assessment

Its design reflects the latest findings in educational research to accelerate growth in data fluency and critical thinking.

As users explore topics of interest, they build their core knowledge and learn how to read & create dozens of useful graphic formats—from bar graphs, box plots, and bubble charts to timelines, treemaps, and word clouds.
